Are you ready for the next level in your medical care? Arm yourself with the medical knowledge you need to gain control of your own health and allow you to become an active participant in your own medical care.
The Nation’s Bedside Doctor serves as the brand name for me, Tami M. Prince, M.D., and the public face of my parent boutique medical consulting practice, Women’s Health and Wellness Center of Georgia, LLC. As The Nation’s Bedside Doctor, I am here to take great care of you. I am a teacher, a healer, and even a cheerleader.
I seek to revolutionize how medical care is delivered to individuals by blending the latest in 21st Century medical technology breakthroughs with a return to an early 20th Century commitment that doctors had with their patients, a commitment to see and treat them as individuals, each with individual needs, rather than seeing and treating them as merely a set of symptoms.
I want to improve the quality of medical care available by challenging my fellow doctors to move away from production-line medicine, with its “one size fits all” mentality, and towards providing caring and compassionate services to all patients according to individual needs. I also want to challenge patients to take a more active role in their healthcare so they can become their own advocates. To do this, they must fully understand their medical issues, as well as their diagnosis and treatment. Once you choose to work with me, I will help you understand what is going on with your health and get the medical care you need. I will also cheer you on to better health by encouraging you to become more hands-on in your own healthcare.
It is my hope and belief that doctors and patients can and should form a mutually respectful partnership in order to improve overall health and to live a lifestyle which is fully connected to health. This partnership begins with patients who respectfully ask the right questions and who then seek out the right answers; it continues with physicians who are attentive to the patients as individuals, always probing for the deeper underlying health issues that go beyond obvious symptoms, and taking time to treat the “whole person.” This type of partnership will benefit everyone. I also forge partnerships with colleagues in order to bridge the gap and help coordinate care of patients so that the best patient care outcome is obtained.
When we meet, you will not ever feel rushed, talked at, lectured to, intimidated, or misunderstood. When you work with me you will “be in the know.” I will show you how to become your own best advocate. If you are ready for the next level in your medical care, I am ready to serve you.
